I replaced the SBC Unit on a W211 E-Class (MY 2003).
The donor SBC (used one) was from a MY2002 - so now I get CAN Communication fault from ESP Module because SBC has older SW version (but same HW version)
Its possible to update the firmware to the same as on ori SBC Unit ? (maybe backup .cff file from ori and flash the ?)
Or need to read eeprom from ori with XentryDAS and flash to donor ?
I already tried to connect with vediamo 5 (EHBASG_K Module) but not possible to connect via CAN1 or CAN2.
Any idea ? Or is to buy a compatible "older" ESP Module the only way to go ?
