IC222 Cluster Issue – Part Number 2229015003 (Black Screen, Not Working)

Hi everyone,

I need some help with my IC222 instrument cluster (PN 2229015003).
After several flashing attempts with different Boot and App files, the cluster is now completely black screen – no flicker, no Mercedes logo, nothing.

Current status:

• Display is totally black, doesn’t power up.
• Still detectable in DTS Monaco, but not responding normally.
• Tried different Boot/App combinations but no luck.

What I already tried:

1. Flashed Boot from 2229048700 → no success.
2. Tried multiple App versions (2229042101, 2229022310, etc.).
3. Repeated flashing attempts, cluster remains dead.

Questions:

• Is it possible to recover with a full flash (Boot + App + Data) specifically for PN 2229015003?
• Or is online SCN coding the only way to bring it back?
• If the unit is stuck in Boot mode, can it be revived with correct files, or is it a lost cause?

Any advice or shared experience would be really appreciated
