Hello, Mercedes Benz W213 diesel hybrid 2020 model, the turn signals work normally when the engine is off and the key is on, but when the hybrid starts or the engine starts, the left turn signal flashes frequently, but the lights outside are fine. What could be the problem? Can you please help?

Seems like Xentry diagnostic is needed. That’s not a common issue, no one tells without any error codes

Could you please give some clarity? I'm having trouble understanding what's wrong with the vehicle from your description. What's the problem? The turn lights themselves or indication on the dashboard?

Hello, the Mercedes Benz w213 hybrid 2020 turn signal works normally when the ignition is on. When the hybrid or engine is started, the left turn signal and the instrument cluster also blink quickly. The lights in the car are on normally. The diagnostics do not show any errors and the instrument cluster does not show any errors either.

Please share the VIN

So, we can choose between 2 options. The first one is tryna to figure out what's wrong and fix it. But that is expensive, and I don't think that the car owner is ready to go this way. The second one is changing coding. There is a field in the coding that describes which current indicates an open circuit. You can measure the current when your turn light works fine and compare it with the hybrid or engine on. If there is a difference so you can change it if it exists.

But if you choose the first option, we need the VIN and to do some deep research

Keep in touch;)

Yes, I understand, new encoding is needed. Can I do this with DTS Monaco?
