oil in the expansion tank OM642 in w166

Hello

I do need help with a customers vehicle thats proving complicated,
w166 with engine 642 came in to the workshop came with the oil in the expansion tank
at first i swapped the oil cooler thinking the exchange of water and oil happened in the oil cooler
after 2 weeks - the problem persisted

i wonder where the oil and water could be mixing, and returns in the expansion tank

Yeah i have thought of that, but there is no oil in the radiator , the coolant in the radiator is free from oil ,
but the coolant in the expansion tank contains oil . Even in the Engine there is no mixture of coolant and oil

масло в радиаторе - это терминальная стадия. первые симптомы пробитой прокладки гбц/пробитой гбц именно масло в расширительном.

У меня была похожая проблема в двигателе OM612 2.7CDI, масло в бачке охлаждающей жидкости. Радиатор заменили, головку подняли, прокладку заменили, проблема осталась. Проблема была в корпусе масляного фильтра двигателя. Была микротрещина в месте крепления масляного фильтра, склеивание помогло на 1 год. Через год пришлось заменить весь элемент, все в порядке.
