I try to understand canbus data communication between ZF8HP tranny in F20 and other car's components, to make own "canbus translator" for Mercedes engine + 8HP swap to my Ford Expedition.
I have experiency with canbus data (mostly in Mercedes), but BMW and 8HP is new for me.
I just start to translate some canbus data (what I found), ECU data, between MB ECU to BMW ECU data
I looking for some technical document about canbus data in BMW (I work on F20 2014 2.0D parts), with data description, length, offset, etc. Also I looking for software/tool to read 16-byte ISN from my ZF8HP to prepare immo-emulator.
